Burn X Flash (BXF) successfully defended their MPL Cambodia throne with a 4-1 win over CFU Gaming in the grand finals of the MPL KH Cambodia Spring 2023 on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
The series was a rematch of the 2022 MPL KH Fall Split grand finals, which BXF also won 4-1. This time, BXF was even more dominant, winning all four of their games in convincing fashion.
In Game 1, BXF picked a strong early game lineup and used their momentum to snowball to a quick victory. In Game 2, BXF showed off their versatility by drafting a late game lineup and executing it perfectly to win the game. In Game 3, BXF made some early mistakes but they were able to recover and win the game in the late game. In Game 4, BXF was in complete control of the game from start to finish and they cruised to a victory.
With this win, BXF has qualified for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023. The MSC is a regional tournament that features the best teams from Southeast Asia. BXF will be looking to defend their title and bring home the trophy for Cambodia.
