Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) has finally arrived in Cambodia! MPL is a major esports event for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang game that has previously been held in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Myanmar.
MPL KH S1 has been approved by the Electronic Sports Federation of Cambodia (ESFC) and will take place online from July 29, 2021 to October 3, 2021. This is to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The event will be organized by ED Entertainment and will feature eight teams from Cambodia. The teams are:
- IMP KH
- BURN x Flash
- Divinity Saga
- Logic Esports
- Diversity Gaming
- See You Soon
- Team Max
- CFU E-sports League Cambodia
The teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. The playoffs will be single-elimination, with the winner of the grand final taking home the title of MPL KH S1 champion.
We are excited to see how the Cambodian teams perform in MPL KH S1. We hope that this event will help to grow the esports scene in Cambodia and inspire more people to take up gaming.
