Resident Evil Village Episode 8 will be officially released on May 7, 2021. In anticipation of the release, Capcom is offering a free trial of the game for all PS4 and PS5 owners. The free trial will be available in two stages:
Stage 1
- Date: April 18, 2021
- Time: 5pm PDT to 1am PDT (North America)
- 7pm CEST to 3am CEST (Europe)
- 5pm HKT to 1am HKT (Asia)
Stage 2
- Date: April 25, 2021
- Time: 5pm PDT to 1am PDT (North America)
- 7pm CEST to 3am CEST (Europe)
- 5pm HKT to 1am HKT (Asia)
Other Devices
Players who own other devices, such as Xbox One, Series S/X, PC (Steam), and Stadia, will have to wait until May 1 to try the free trial. On that day, all devices will be able to test play for an hour in both areas above on the same day.
How to Sign Up for the Free Trial
To sign up for the free trial, simply visit the Resident Evil website and create an account. Once you have created an account, you will be able to download the free trial from the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft Store.
What to Expect in the Free Trial
The free trial will allow players to explore two different areas of Resident Evil Village: the village and the castle. Players will be able to experience the game's combat, puzzles, and exploration mechanics. The free trial will also include a limited number of weapons and items.
Are There Any Restrictions on the Free Trial?
