The Politan people, who live between Albata and the Moniyan Empire, are small but incredibly intelligent creatures who inhabit a mountainous basin. They have a strong obsession with money and riches. Barats, who was born in a Politan village, was a naughty child who continued to be so even as he grew older. Though he had a desire for money, he despised work and learning, hoping instead to get rich quickly.
Barats' laziness irritated his fellow villagers, who considered kicking him out of their community. In retaliation, Barats stole a valuable and sacred treasure map from the village's holy place and fled. He headed towards the distant Albata, following the map's guidance, but was disappointed when he arrived and found nothing but desert sands and ruins. Despite this setback, Barats continued to search for the legendary Los Pecados with the hope of finding wealth. However, he soon lost his way and was left stranded in the desert, on the brink of death.
At this point, a small dragon lizard appeared and led Barats to water, saving his life. Grateful for the lizard's help and companionship, Barats named it Detona and took it with him on his journey. As Detona grew larger and their bond grew stronger, Barats forgot about his desire for wealth and instead focused on his friendship with the lizard.
Years later, Barats used his skills to gather information for a local gang in Los Pecados and made a living out of it. He eventually joined the renowned "Steel Hands" hunter group and went on a hunt for a rare dinosaur. After twenty days of tracking, the group captured the dinosaur, which turned out to be Detona.
Despite the big bounty on the dinosaur's head, Barats chose to free Detona and ride on its back, just like old times. Detona knocked down the hunters, and Barats disappeared into the distance with his old friend. Several months later, Barats returned to Los Pecados with hidden treasures and riding on Detona's back. The people there were impressed and started calling him the Dino Rider.
